The Division of the Chief Information Office is pleased to announce that Rensselaer has partnered with Internet2 and Box.com to bring to the Rensselaer community, “Box @RPI,” a cloud-based collaboration platform.

At this stage, we are rolling out this new service only to Rensselaer Staff, Faculty, and Graduate Students.

We will be making Box @ RPI available to undergraduate students at the beginning of the Spring 2017 semester.

What is Box @RPI?

Box is similar in many ways to  services such as Dropbox, Google Drive, or Microsoft OneDrive, which  provide end users with the ability to access files with any Internet-capable device from almost any location. With Box @RPI, users can collaborate and share their work  with co-workers, students, administrators, and colleagues at Rensselaer, and around the world.

As a Rensselaer service, Box @RPI is subject to the same policies and procedures as any other Rensselaer resource which has been made available to faculty, staff, and students.
