The Division of the Chief Information Officer is encouraging all members of the campus community to authenticate to Rensselaer's network with the Duo app installed on their Smartphones and using Push notification in favor of text and phone calls.  Push smartphone notifications offer a quicker, easier, more secure, and less expensive means of authenticating to the campus network.  For individuals who don't wish to use the Duo app on their Smartphones, Duo hardware tokens are available in the campus bookstore, at a cost of $24.95, as an alternative solution.
