Did someone send you a shared folder in Box and you’re not able to open this, or you are receiving an error “Invalid Login Credentials”? This could be that you are not registered for a Box account.

What is Box?

Box is a cloud file sharing service like Dropbox, Google Drive, or Microsoft OneDrive that provides individuals with the ability to access files with any Internet-capable device from almost any location. Individuals can grant access privileges to other individuals allowing them to share files with coworkers, students, administrators, and colleagues around the world. Box is a great place to back up your files.

  • Online Storage (50 GB storage (can request more if needed), 50 GB max file size)

While anyone at RPI can have a Box account, it is not automatic requiring individuals to register:

Once you register for a box account, you can access box at https://rpi.box.com

It is also recommended to install Box Drive and Box for Office.
