Last year, the Rensselaer Mediasite instance moved to the cloud, and, as a part of that move, the URL changed for all Mediasite video links. While the old links will still work, they may be slower as the cloud site works to perform a redirect before serving the video.
 
As a result, DotCIO's Multimedia Services staff highly recommends that campus community members replace all Mediasite URLs which are currently on websites and are linked or embedded using the format of https://mediasite.mms.rpi.edu/Mediasite5/play/UniqueIDOfVideo with the new format of https://mediasite.mms.rpi.edu/Mediasite/play/UniqueIDOfVideo for the best response and service.
