Security Alert
Following our recent communication regarding the Instructure (Canvas) security incident, Instructure has informed Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute that no RPI data was impacted by this event.
While the incident involved unauthorized access to certain Instructure systems affecting multiple institutions, Instructure has completed its review and confirmed that RPI-specific data was not involved.
We will continue to monitor for any additional updates from Instructure and maintain our standard security practices, including awareness of potential phishing activity related to this incident.
No action is required at this time.
