In an effort to prevent spam attacks, effective 03/09/2026 the Zendesk ticketing system is requiring a one time email verification for each instance for those who submit requests and are not signed into the system. This new workflow will require anonymous (not signed‑in) individuals who submit requests to verify their email address before an active ticket is created. Submissions from unauthenticated individuals will create a suspended ticket and send a verification email to the email address entered by the requester.
The verification email received from the ITSSC site will have the below text:
RPI's ticketing system requires those not logged into the system to verify their email address. Please follow the link below to verify and your request will be submitted. Once this email address is verified you generally will not have to verify it again in the future.
