DotCIO's Information Technologies Infrastructure (ITI) department implements perimeter campus firewalls which improves overall performance of off-net connectivity and provides further protection against Internet worms and viruses. ITI also maintains many internal departmental firewalls for additional layers of security for systems which need additional security.
